The accordion, or concertina book, is a non-adhesive structure that originated in 7th century China. Historical examples can be found from across Asia, as well as Latin America. Today this structure is well-suited for photograph albums, scrapbooks, sketchbooks and guest books.

Because of the compact size of our accordion albums, they also make great display books or brag books.

We recommend using acid-free photo splits or corners to attach items to the pages in your accordion album.

  • Hand-bound with one 7” x 40” (178mm x 1m) piece of ivory/black acid-free card that is scored and folded to make 8-pages (14 if you use both sides) and two pieces of 2.8mm thick acid-free millboard.
  • Covered with a reproduction of an endpaper designed by Harold Jones and used in a 1937 children’s book.
  • Has a coordinating black elastic strap closure.
  • Measures 181mm high x 130mm wide (7 1/8” x 5 1/8”) when closed.
  • Shipped via Royal Mail 1st Class (UK) or Royal Mail International.
